M&A Associate - Insurance
£65,000-£75,000 + Bonus

I am currently supporting a swiftly growing, PE backed insurance business with hiring into their M&A team. This is a key hire for the business to assist with their growth where you will have exposure to the fully deal cycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Participated in all phases of the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) value chain, including deal origination, sell-side and buy-side execution, and comprehensive transaction support.
- Prepared marketing and origination materials, including pitch books.
- Assisted with overall M&A transaction support, such as due diligence (DD) assignments, interloper analysis, and client DD support for investment committees.
- Managed the M&A process timeline and key milestones, and prepared relevant transaction documents, such as Information Memorandums and Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
- Conducted strategic research for clients.
- Drafted corporate finance and related transactional documentation.
- Liaised with regulatory bodies on behalf of corporate clients.
- Supported team members with analysis, research, and due diligence as needed.
To succeed in this role you will be:
- ACA/ CFA qualified from the Big 4 or Investment Banking.
- Experienced post qualification within transaction services.
- A proactive self starter with a strong work ethic.
