The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of proven experience in M&A transactions, including both sell-side and buy-side deals. This role will be responsible for managing and executing M&A transactions, working closely with clients, analysts and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- M&A transaction management: oversee and manage the entire M&A process, from identifying opportunities to closing deals.
- Strategic client support: provide strategic advice to clients on growth opportunities, divestitures, and portfolio optimization.
- Financial evaluation and modelling: build and review advanced financial models, including company valuations, DCF analyses, market multiples, and merger scenarios.
- Due diligence: Lead financial, tax, and legal due diligence processes for transactions, coordinating internal teams and external advisors.
- Team management: Supervise a team of analysts and associates in the preparation of materials, reports, presentations, and sector analysis.
- Senior client interaction: Serve as the key point of contact for senior clients, supporting them in strategic decisions and negotiations.
- Negotiation support: participate in and lead M&A deal negotiations, ensuring alignment between parties and executing the defined strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in M&A, with a proven track record of both buy-side and sell-side transactions in infrastructure sector.
- Strong skills in financial modeling and corporate valuation techniques.
- Leadership abilities and proven experience in managing and developing teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface with high-level clients and senior management.
